As VP of Design & Construction for Rosewood, Mike Paneri managed the technical services efforts to develop the Rosewood Mayakoba in the Riviera Maya - one of 4 luxury hotels in the 620 acre Mayakoba development. The property encompasses two development zones - the inland, lagoon zone and the beachfront zone. Each zone includes guest rooms/suites and a public resort pool and F&B. The inland zone has a meeting space, bars and restaurants, an island spa, children’s club and retail. The property includes 129 overwater suites with private plunge pools, garden showers and individual docks. These units are situated on the cenote inspired internal lagoon system that flows from the inland zone to the beachfront. The property also includes a collection of overwater Private Residences.
