As SVP Design & Construction for Viceroy Hotel Group, Mike Paneri managed the hospitality technical services process for the renovation of the Hotel Emblem. Every corner is designed to spark creativity, from the bar inspired by the Beat Generation, to the book-filled Writer’s Alcove in the lobby, to the eclectic guestrooms, where patterns play and an expressive vibe thrives. Or simply sit back and tap out a few thoughts on the lobby typewriter. The project consisted of the full renovation of the hotels’ 96 guestrooms, the entire ground floor public spaces including the reception, bar, lounge, meeting rooms and coffee shop.
